filet crochet

Working crochet left-handed is just as easy as working it right-handed. And not only is it a hobby that you can have fun with and use your imagination but you can really be industrial with it.

Amongst older people crochet is popular as a social activity and to help keep arthritic symptoms in check. Many of these books and magazines, are rare and expensive, putting them out of the reach of the average crafter, other than in a library, Libraries in particular are good low cost sources of patterns, however it generally takes a fair bit of time and effort to locate a suitable pattern. If you do not know how to make one, you will find help on my site.

Once you've learnt and got the hang of crocheting, you'd be keen to develop more complicated designs and articles. The library is a great source of crochet baby blanket patterns also. When you purchase a crochet book, or patterns, you'll find the abbreviations and symbols will be explained at the beginning.

Remember that perfection is not necessary. The most important thing to remember when starting to crochet is not to get overwhelmed.
