free patterns crochet ski hat - the basics

Have you been thinking about learning to crochet? Actually, crochet is not difficult at all.

There are so many great wools and threads to choose from, you can make anything you want. Generally, it is wound on a small core resulting in a compact ball with high yardage. Over the years, there have been many, many books written on crochet and baby blankets are easily one of the most popular items to crochet.

There are magazines published that are devoted solely to the art of crochet. The white colored yarn is generally more expensive than the colored yarn. When you are really stuck and just do not understand the directions of the pattern, or how to do a stitch, then have them show you.

Keep in mind that patterns can be adapted to suit the purpose of the project. As a beginner learning crochet, you will no doubt find a little frustration at times.
