free crochet and knitting pattern

For those who are just beginning the art of crochet, you have probably completed many a blanket. The methods for forming the stitches and holding the hook and yarn remain the same; you simply use your left instead of right hand.

The internet is full of websites that can teach you crochet. A crocheted baby blanket can be made in any color or variety of colors. It's always best to choose a yarn of the same weight - worsted, finering, chunky etc.

The web sites provides crochet patterns and gives you fresh ideas for new clothes, blankets or other imaginative cloth based items. Threading a large-eyed needle with the loose strings after finishing a project and weaving the loose strings into the project are easier than using the hook. There may be clubs in your area that meet monthly to exchange crochet patterns and to give tips to each other.

You can create many great and useful items for wearing and making your home warm. There are some great resources out there.
